Research interests: professionalisation of political communication, mediatisation of politics; EU Communication Policy, European public sphere and EU political reporting; Communication cultures.

Courses taught: "Public Relations", "Political Communication" (in English), "Integrated Communication Strategies", "Communication Cultures" (in English), "Creative Online Writing", "Introduction to Public Communication Studies", "Media and Communications in the Baltic countries", "Public Communication Contexts and Cultures", "Public Sphere: Context and Cultures".

Membership:
 member of academic and professional associations, such as "LAMIDA: Lithuanian Universities' Public Relations Association" (since 2006), "BAMR: Baltic Association for Media Research" (since 2004), "ECREA: European Communication Reasearch and Education Association" (since 2009); since 2007, she is a member and the country representative of YECREA Young Scholars Network.

Other professional activities: as a young scholar and project assistant participates in international research projects (EU 6th FP, NordPlus, etc.); aside from teaching, is one of the organisers of intensive seminars and summer schools for journalism and communication students at VMU; is the coordinator of the ESA "Reporting Europe from Home". She is involved in various studies organisation activities, is one of the founders and coordinators of different online projects, such as BalticMedia.euMediaStudies.lt, VDU.lt/ESA, VDU.lt/media/interlinks, etc. At the University she also works as a Chief Public Relations Officer with the responsibilities of coordinating various PR projects and relations with alumni.
